(SULFATE-FREE SURFACTANT) POWDER
This gentle surfactant is also known as baby foam. lt is derived from coconut oil using a simple process.
BENEFITS AND USES:
• It is a highly effective sulfate-free alternative.
• Its moderate cleansing and powerful foaming properties make it ideal for solid shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and bath bombs.
• This product is ideal for color-treated hair due to its ability to resist hard water and prevent scum formation, leaving no residue. When used as a stand-alone surfactant base, it produces a good lather and enhances the cleaning experience.
• It creates a lovely, delicate lather for your goods. It's inherently acidic, resulting in skin-friendly formulations that require little adjustments.
• The chemical is a surfactant with a hydrophobic alkyl tail and a hydrophilic sulfonate anion.
• It effectively removes dirt and grime from surfaces by attracting oil/grease and water.
Usage rate: Up to 40% for rinse-off and 17% for leave-on applications.
To improve solubility in liquid detergents, betaine, nonionic sugar surfactants, glyceramides, and polyglycosides can be added.
USAGE GUIDE:
• Add the surfactant phase of your choosing.
• Cook slowly over low heat.
• Use a high-shear stick blender to prevent excessive foaming.
• Combine surfactant mix with the rest of the formulation.
