Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable and water-soluble vitamin C derivative.Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is produced by mixing ascorbic acid, phosphate, and salt. It increases dermal collagen synthesis, neutralising skin damage and reducing hyperpigmentation and dark spots. It provides antibacterial properties and stimulates collagen formation.Collagen is the protein responsible for strong and young skin.
BENEFITS:
• Stabilised vitamin C that does not deteriorate in aqueous solutions. Esterification of asorbic acid shields vitamin C from oxidative damage.
• Effective antioxidant that protects skin from oxidative damage.
• Improves the appearance of ageing and delicate skin.
• Used as an additive in skin lightening creams to treat hyperpigmentation and age spots.
• To enhance the antioxidant action, consider adding L-ascorbyl palmitate and/or vitamin E.
• Applications include lotions, creams, sun care, after-sun, and cosmetics. Soluble in water (clear solution at 10% concentration).
• pH 9-10 (3% in water) may cause discoloration at pH values below 6.
• Usage: 0.2–3%, but up to 8%. For skin lightening. For exterior use only.
