Fruit Extract
Mulberry is an antioxidant. Mulberries include anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants that protect the body against free radicals. Mulberry fruit is hailed as an anti-aging fruit due to its high antioxidant content, which is why some people utilize it to obtain youthful, wrinkle-free skin. It contains high levels of vitamin C as well as 32 other minerals and vitamins, including beta carotene, bioflavinoids, calcium, citrates, citric acid, iron malates, malic acid, niacin, phosphorus, and vitamins A, B1, B2, E, and K. In most rose species, the fruit ranges from red to orange, but it can also be dark purple.
COMMON USES: Traditionally, extract has been used to treat joint pain symptoms. It is high in Vitamin C and has natural antioxidant effects. It can be used in skin care products to keep the skin supple and as an ingredient in astringents. It also has calming effects and can be used in tinctures and body balms. Tincture use (1 g per 100 mL). This extract's hue may vary from batch to batch.
USAGE: To use botanical extracts, use between 0.5 and 2% of the product's weight.
To include extracts into formulations, they should often be added during the cooling phase.
• For thick goods, such as shampoos and creams: To dissolve the powdered extract, add 5-10 ml of hot water (45 °C - 50 ̊C; cool down phase temperature). Incorporate the mixture well into the product.
• For mists, toners, and other water-based products, the extract does not need to be dissolved before being added.
