This essential oil should be stored in dark amber, blue, or green glass bottles because it has been shown to disintegrate aluminum bottles.
Storage recommendation: To preserve freshness and get the longest possible shelf life, move oils stored in metal containers (for secure shipment) into dark glass containers. Color and scent may alter as a result of the production process.
