Description

INCI Name: Hydrolyzed Silk Protein.

Composition: 1,2-hexanediol, water, glycerin, hydrolyzed silk protein, and hydroxyacetophenone.

Purity Grade: No purity grade is applicable.

Appearance: Amber liquid, mild odour. 

Solubility: Water-soluble

Country of origin: United States.

 Color: Clear to amber liquid with a moderate aroma.

Hydrolyzed silk protein is derived from natural silk noils found in the cocoon of the silkworm. Has great moisture binding characteristics and a silky smooth texture.

Works well with various hair care products, such as shampoos, conditioners, balms, and pomades. This adds lustre, sheen, and body to hair. Works well with skin care products including lotions and creams, imparting moisture, binding, and creating a protective barrier. The recommended use level is O.5-10%. Store in the refrigerator. 

It's compatible with cationic, anionic, and non-ionic materials.

Add liquid during the cooling process of your manufacture.
