CONCENTRATION AND SOLUBILITY:
• Recommended concentration: 1-8%, soluble in oil and alcohol.Insoluble in water.
Directions for Use: Add Cetyl Alcohol to melted oils and use as a secondary emulsifier with a concentration of less than 5%. Use 0.5-6% in the oil phase (e.g., 3% for a creamy lotion with 3% emulsifier) and melt at 54°C (129°F).
Caution: Although unlikely to worsen pre-existing medical issues, avoid using on injured skin or in therapeutic creams. Direct, undiluted contact may cause skin and eye irritation or discomfort. There are no known dangers associated with producing this substance using good methods.
