How to include extracts into formulations
• Most extracts should be introduced during the formulation's cool down phase.
• For thick goods, such as shampoos and creams: To dissolve the powdered extract, add 5-10 ml of hot water (45 °C - 50 ̊C; cool down phase temperature). Combine this mixture thoroughly with the product.
• For mists, toners, and other water-based products, the extract does not need to be dissolved before being added.
