Avocado Butter is intended for topical application and contains 100% pure, ultra-refined Avocado Oil to provide fatty acids. Added Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil creates an odorless white foundation that is soft but rich, melting fast when in contact with the skin.
Avocado oil is commonly used to hydrate dry, mature skin and hair. THIS PRODUCT IS SOFT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE AND MELTS SLOWLY ON CONTACT WITH THE SKIN. IT CAN BE USED FROM 3% TO 100% AS A BODY BALM. ESPECIALLY HELPFUL TO NAILS AND CUTICLES, IT MAY BE USED TO ENHANCE THE EMOLLIENCE OF A VARIETY OF FORMULATIONS INCLUDING LOTIONS, CREAMS, AFTER-SUN PRODUCTS, CONDITIONERS, BODY BUTTERS, LUXURY SOAPS, AND BABY-CARE PRODUCTS AND LIP BALM.

When adding butter to creams and lotions, it may be required to gradually warm it until it melts or becomes very soft in texture and may be absorbed into the final product. Create a vortex with your cream or lotion and sprinkle in the melted butter, blending until thoroughly absorbed and smooth. The typical norm for soap addition is one tablespoon per pound (15 ml/500 g). As with most raw materials, outcomes may vary, so we strongly advise conducting small, lab-scale batches prior to commercial manufacturing.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE: TO MAINTAIN THE TEXTURE, STORE THIS BUTTER IN A REFRIGERATOR. It will get soft in warmer temperature.
Shelf Life: Store in an airtight container at cool temperatures (below 25°C) away from light and moisture. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will solidify again upon cooling without impacting functionality. This butter has a one-year shelf life when stored properly.
