Product Form: White Pearls.
Sodium hydroxide is commonly used in cosmetics, particularly in the creation of handcrafted soap to saponify oils. Paper, aluminium, industrial drain and oven cleansers, soap, and detergents are just a few examples of daily products made with it. Our sodium hydroxide is evaluated for compatibility with cosmetic chemicals and can be used as a saponifier in handmade soap making. In soapmaking, adding sodium hydroxide to the oil phase causes saponification, resulting in hard soap. It is an extremely versatile chemical.
