Tangerines are typically fresh, zesty, and sweet. It smells quite similar to Mandarin, with only tiny distinctions. Tangerine is lighter and sweeter than Sweet Orange.
Combines with: Basil, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Clove, Bud, Lavender, Lemon, Lime, Neroli, Nutmeg, and Orange.
Tangerine trees were originally native to China, but they are currently primarily farmed in the United States and Sicily. The tree is also very similar to the Mandarin. Tangerine Essential Oil, like most citrus oils, has refreshing and revitalizing properties. Tangerine Essential Oil is sometimes used in perfumes, toiletries, and soaps.
